History:
“Once upon a time never began. It never even started.”
Time was once raw. Raw and free, it roamed the skies, searching for a victim. Victims to attach to, and begin and end its life, take away something in a matter of seconds, to change a moment and make the future collapse. It still roams, its energy piercing the black skies, searching for a soul to suck. Thanks to Him. The man in the suit, tall and proud, leaning against his blue box.
He was once like everyone else, normal and content with his life. The fabric of time sparsely spread over him, telling the man that he was different. Different from the others. Time made a fool out of him. It plucked at his appearance, and at the fringes of humanity. And his planet. The elders began fighting, and the blackness approached. The world began to shatter, the war eating souls like a rabid dog eating a carcass. Time mutilated their minds, until all that was left was to follow the Blackness. It took his people, and left him alone. The Blackness made them evil, and his family became his enemies, his life becoming his fate. All he could do was leave. He left, and traveled the skies, searching for another like him, all alone in his Box. Then there was the Woman.
She had a family, a life and a job. For god’s sake, she lived on another planet! He traveled the skies, a lone warrior. Life consumed by Time. And then they met. Her planet was full of gasses, the effects of an overcrowded world tugging at its lifespan. He saved her world, and she fell in love with him. But his heart had lost the love, long images of times before him flashing though his mind. They traveled together, and the war followed them. The more they moved, the more they fell for each other. And all the time that they were traveling, saving civilizations, there was two words following them.
Bad Wolf
The word ate away at their people, their friends. And then there was another war. Except, the Man knew who was leading it. They fought along side of each other, until they were pulled apart. By what, you ask? By the only thing that made the Man scared.
Time.
It pulled his lover into a parallel universe, onto a cold and deserted beach. She sad there, weeping for hours. He only just realized, when she was plucked away from him, that he loved her. All his technology failed him, until he came to the one instrument that had bought them together, across the galaxy. He used his instrument, and found that he was on the beach, looking at the love of his life. She cried, and clung to his hologram like a child to a mother. She told him that she loved him, and that she never wanted to leave him. And he called out her name…about to tell her something back…then disappeared. The Woman was broken. She lie on the beach, crying for hours. The only good thing in her life had been taken away from her. And the Man? He was just the same. In the blue box sat a dejected man. He found other companions, but nothing could replace the Woman. Why? Because he loved her.
Bad Wolf followed the Man, and his universe held a war against it. Eventually, he grew tired and weary. Fighting didn’t bring his love back. He surrendered that night. And the Wolf struck, time rearranging his life and appearance. He screamed for the woman, but for the first time, she did not come. Just as death swept over his broken body, he saw a flash of blond hair, belonging to his love...
He woke up screaming, tears swelling out of his eyes. He tried to rise, but found that he could not. He looked down, to find that she was no longer a Man. He looked to the sky, and collapsed.
Several, thousands of kilometers away, a litter of pups was born. A different colored pup, none like his family. And that night when the pup, a tan and white male, slept, a woman in a blue box came to him, and whispered three words from that day on the beach…
The pup, from that first night, grew hateful towards his siblings and family and eventually, after he was teased about his dreams, murder them all. Out of cold blood hatred. He roamed the city for years, and joined various packs. He waged wars, and killed many. He even had a human once, but that was so long ago....
The dog, who renamed himself as Ettie, resulted to roaming by himself again. No-one loved the savage beast. But every night, he had that dream...
Charm symbol: A Blue Police Box
Charm substance: An extremely hard wood, possibly not from earth?
Thread color: Blood Red
Why charm represents your dog: Ettie was not always a dog, but in fact a time lord, who traveled the worlds. His pride, not a old car, was a TARDIS, disguised as a blue police box. It protected him and was his shell from others. In his dog life, the outer personality of the kelpie is like a shell, covering whatever lies beneath. Ettie acts protective towards the ones he loves, just like his transport did. The red thread represents the blood he lost in his last fight, the fight with letting go of his love.
